A message from Tahrah on the passing of Joe Pascarell

It’s taken this long to piece words together over the loss of Joe Pascarell.

Joe wasn’t just the fierce front-man, animated singer and lead guitarist of The Machine, he was our friend, our family, and sometimes our guide through life; showing us the simple pleasures and the beauty of this world.

As we struggle to move forward, his loss takes on greater depth and dimension to many of us. We’re forever grateful to our friends & fans who’ve helped us move ahead during this most challenging time.

As some of the shock of his loss abates and when there is a new person standing where Joe stood; please know that Joe will never be someone who is replaced. His soul will always be a part of The Machine.

After spending most of his adult life and 30+ years in the The Machine, he’s left his mark on almost everyone he encountered. From the musicians he shared the stage with, to the audiences who loved him, to the crew he worked beside and the venues he performed at - all could feel a special bond with Joe.

With an abundance of love and sadness, we leave the memories we’ve experienced to live on and share with each other. Together we carry them on in his name and spirit.
